Built as a modern PDW platform, the Springfield Kuna utilizes a reliable roller-delayed operating system to minimize reciprocating mass, resulting in reduced felt recoil and flatter shooting. Its monolithic aluminum upper receiver houses a 6.125-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1/2×28 threaded muzzle and multi-port brake for suppressor compatibility. The firearm features fully ambidextrous controls (safety, mag release, and bolt release), a reversible non-reciprocating charging handle, and an M-LOK compatible handguard. It ships equipped with a robust Strike Industries FSA side-folding brace for enhanced stability and compact transport.
