The CIVIVI Baby Banter 2 updates the ultra-popular mini EDC folder design by introducing a fully ambidextrous architecture. The 2.34-inch drop-point blade is precision hollow-ground from high-performance Nitro-V stainless steel, providing excellent edge toughness and structural corrosion resistance. The blade surface is finished with a sleek gray stonewash coating that prevents glare and helps conceal surface scratches over its lifetime. The major structural evolution in Version 2 replaces the older liner-lock frame with a self-adjusting, robust crossbar lock. This allows the user to unlock and close the blade safely from either side without placing their fingers in the path of the edge. The knife deploys cleanly on a caged ceramic ball-bearing pivot using dual thumb studs. The handle utilizes premium, organically textured Green Canvas Micarta scales set over skeletonized stainless steel liners, maintaining the iconic deep index finger choil for full-hand leverage. It is completed with a deep-carry, reversible tip-up stainless steel pocket clip to accommodate both right- and left-handed users.
