Description
Developed by Leo Espinoza as a highly concealable belt-carry alternative within the “El Chappo” family, the TOPS El Chappito (ECPTO-01) trades a crowded field of narrow EDC knives for a wide, slicing-focused platform. Crafted from surprisingly thin 0.120-inch 1095 high carbon steel, the 3.38-inch blade features a tall flat grind and a versatile sheep’s foot/cleaver profile that excels at slicing cardboard, opening packages, or managing camp food prep. A Coyote Tan powder coat shields the carbon steel from moisture, while the ergonomic, full-tang handle utilizes green canvas Micarta scales for a non-abrasive, slip-resistant grip. Weighing only 3.2 ounces, it ships with a low-profile chocolate Kydex sheath equipped with Beta Loops for flexible appendix, scout, or pack mounting.
