The 3-inch modified drop-point blade is hollow-ground from premium Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, featuring a razor-sharp straight edge near the tip and scalloped partial serrations near the bolster to easily saw through fibrous rope, cardboard, and plastic webbing. The entire knife—blade and steel scales—is treated with a uniform, glare-reducing bead-blasted finish. It utilizes a lightning-fast SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism triggered via the index flipper tab. Safety is handled by a rigid frame lock and a physical Tip-Lock slider to prevent accidental pocket deployment.
